Bloody Mary Mirror

"In her world…

…they prey on your weaknesses and linger in your subconscious.

…everything rustles, there is a reason to look over your shoulder and adrenaline courses through your veins.

…the tales you heard as a child have gone horribly wrong. Dorothy doesn’t win and Alice’s nightmare is inescapable.

…there is no where to run. Just as one horror ends, another begins and you scream until you have no sound left.

…fear is not just a four-letter-word. It’s a state of mind.

And, if you can bear to say her name, you’ll be yanked through the mirror and into her world, where you will never be the same."

The Mirror is the homeworld of various monsters and myths, most notably Bloody Mary and the inmates of Wonderland.

Eons Ago...[]

A doctor by the name of Mary began treating patients to overcome their worst fears. Over time, she began to feel that she is being watched by otherworldly beings from behind her two-way mirror.

As her experiments became more dangerous, she began to see the realms that lay beyond the mirror, as well as the various creatures that dwelled in it. Eventually she left such a legacy in blood that she became an proprietor of evil legends and took control of the Mirror's world.

The Mirror is a "home away from home" where the embodiment of bloody legends and the monsters she ruled lurked. It contained five realms.

Realms[]

Urban Legends[]

A Dominion of stories that have basis in real life. This was an old town where characters from America’s bloody history such as the Headless Horseman, Lizzie Borden, and the like traverse. Notable locations in the town include The Butchered Buck, which was overrun by aliens, and a Skoolhouse where Bloody Mary has the kids go “trick or treat”- and where her grandmother was killed by the children.

Myths[]

A dominion of folklore. In the town of an even worse version of Victorian London, The Gentlemen (after concluding their run for the Terra Queen) serve the bloody Queen of this world as they use the myths such as Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd to cover up their murders and collections of the bodies. There is also a portal to where another affiliate of the doctor’s court; Samhain, keeps the oldest traditions of All Hallow's Eve.

Tales[]

A dominion comprising of twisted reflections of the Fairy Tales associated with types such as the brothers Grimm. In an old shack called “Fractured Tales”, a villain in the court of witch of the Mirrors, the Evil Queen, has the Scribes write altered realities where no one lived happily after. In one notable location, the witch took over Oz.

Fears[]

A dominion that contains the phobias of the minds of the living. This is the home of the ruler of all the realms, Bloody Mary, and where unfortunate guests who dare say her name three times are subject to her “fear therapy”. It also contains Mary’s wonderland where she drove all the residents homicidally insane.

Nightmares[]

A dominion of sleep where the unwanted dreams of the subconscious forms a galaxy of horror. The broken minds of those subject to Mary's fear therapy are locked within a loop of time in this space area- the minds of the Columbus are forever subjugated by madness due to an artifact, the minds of the plague victims will forever be in thrall to an apocalyptic wasteland, and the mind of Charlie McPherson, one of the victims of Mary's work when she was "alive" will forever be subject to the monsters from hisphotos.

Theories[]

"You know I wonder if that's cause she's in mirrors you know like she can travel to any time so long has someone summons her through a mirror "

"At any rate, just look around on the website, in Mary's world time is by no means a constant. You're traveling from 1958 to Victorian London to a future where we have a spaceship traveling beyond the limits of our solar system. This means that if she wills it you can return to a time or place in the present, past or future and experience places and meet people that have either long been dead, haven't been born yet or never actually existed."
