Insidious: Into the Further was one of the six haunted mazes that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 2013 (Hollywood). It was located in the Jurassic Park Queue.

Description[]

Beyond our world lies The Further, a dark realm occupied by tortured souls of the dead. But one evil soul – a cold-blooded murderer – has escaped into our world. Uncover the horrifying secret that has haunted the Lambert family as you enter Insidious: Into the Further. It's a nightmare journey into the paranormal where the dead crave the one thing they can't possess… your life!

Facade[]

The facade for this haunted maze was the Lambert Residence.

Guests enter into the house and find themselves in the main hall of the house, as they walk forward on their right the lamp flickers and grows bright and on their left the picture frame on the wall flickers revealing the Bride In Black.

Guests enter the next room and make on their left passing a picture frame revealing The Lambert Family with Josh Lambert's face scrapped, the frame opens up as The Bride In Black reaches out and swipes as guests as they exit to the next room.

Guests enter the next room which is Dalton's Bedroom as they walk pass around a table on their right where Elaine, Specs & Tucker and Lorraine Lambert sit and trying to conduct a seance as a door front of the table The Red Lipstick Face Demon pops out and slams his hand on the table and swipes at guests as they exit room.

Guests then enter the next room where as they are walking towards the grandfather clock ticking as behind it the two figures of the Doll Girl twins appear smiling as guests make a right into the next room.

Guests enter the Cali Lambert Nursery room where we can hear her crying and the window by her crib reveals the figure of the Long Haired Fiend staring in. Guests continue forward into the next room.

Guests enter a dark hallway where above them can be seen flickering as they make a left into the next room.

Guests then enter the destroyed room of Dalton's as the light in the room is flickering and hand prints of the Red Lipstick Face Demon can be seen in parts of the room and where a shadow of the Red Lipstick Face Demon can be seen on the windows of the doors behind Dalton's crooked bed in front of it on the left of guest, as they continue forward, on their right the Long Haired Fiend pops out of a door and swipes at guests.

Guests then enter into the next room that is darkened and leads to the next revealing red wall chandeliers on the right wall of guests as they continue forward, as they continue forward into another darkened hallway and then entering The Red Lipstick Demon's Lair.

Guests enter into the lair as on their right the a giant window on the right reveals The Red Lipstick Face Demon peering at them and clawing at the window as they continue forward passing through some curtains and further into the Red Lipstick Demon's room, passing by some of his things on the left and side of guests, as they continue on the right a collection of his dolls can be seen as the face of the Red Lipstick Face Demon appears in the mirror as they exit the room.

Guests enter a darkened room where they are attacked by The Red Lipstick Face Demon and the Little Ghost Boy on their left as they enter the room on their right.

Guests then enter into a darkened corridor of The Further where guests walk by static figures of some of the further ghosts and as they scared away by others, guests then reach the end where on the right The Bride In Black can be seen with flicking candle scaring guests as they enter into the next room.

Guests enter back into Dalton's bedroom with static figures of the Further Ghosts on either side of them as they continue forward and attacked by one of the further ghosts on the right as they continue forward into the next room.

Guests enter into a darkened hallway and walking pass the red door continuing into the darkened corridor of the Further as they continue forward they're attacked by Michelle Crane in a mirror on their left as they continue, a frame of the wall of Michelle Crane can be seen as it is slid open revealing Michelle Crane popping out and swiping guests as they make a right into the next room.

Guests enter into Parker Crane's childhood bedroom where on the left of guests can see a set of rocking horses moving in the flickering room, Parker Crane can be seen laying in bed crying with toy house glowing red next to the bed as guests pass by, on their right Michelle Crane pops out of some curtains swiping at guests as they continue forward to the next room.

Guests enter into the next room which is Parker Crane's lair as they guests walk pass by some bodies as one of them moving room left and right and leaps at guests, as they forward guests walk pass a few more bodies sitting against a wall on their left, on their right they're attacked by Michelle Crane as they continue into the darkened room ahead where they're attacked by The Bride In Black on their left as they exit the house.

  • The Codename for this Maze was "Rock Icon". [1].
  • The Halloween Horror Nights Twitter gave out daily passwords for the house. If guests were to tell the password to Specs and Tucker (who would be standing outside the house), they would receive a prize. This is a list of the daily passwords:

  • Murdy was invited to be part of the Insidious 2 press junket in Beverly Hills but couldn’t find someone to take care of his daughter Izzy who was only 5 months old at the time so he brought her along. It was 3 Men and a Baby (James, Leigh, Me and Izzy)! [4].
  • The Parker Crane's Mother Sound Effect in Parker's Crane bedroom was reused from the La Llorona: Villa de Almas Perdidas maze.
  • This maze won Maze of the Year in 2013.
