Universal's Creature Features in 3-D was one of the five haunted houses that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights IX. It is considered a milestone for being the first ever 3-D maze in Halloween Horror Nights history. It was located in Nazarman's.
Put on your 3-D glasses, as some of Hollywood's worst nightmares literally jump off the screen of a neighborhood movie theater at Florida's first ever 3-D haunted maze.
According to concept art, the facade was that of an old-fashioned movie theater with movie posters covering the walls, a broken admission window, and blood running down the stairs.
Some scenes from this house include a bungee scare from above, a Frankenstein, Dracula and Wolfman room. The Wolfman room took place in a forest, and featured a nod to the 1999 movie, The Blair Witch Project, in the form of one of the stick symbols found in the movie.
- This was the first ever 3-D haunted house that appeared during Halloween Horror Nights. Rather than the more common anaglyph or polarized forms of 3D, this house, and all other Halloween Horror Nights 3D houses, used ChromaDepth™.
